Description
Growing in abundance across the gorges of Cerro San Miguel, a large hill in Bolivia, low-growing Gymnocalycium chacoense form large clusters spreading easily through offsets. Bright green stems are covered in short golden spines, and pale pink flowers emerge during the summer months.
WATERING
During S/S water when the soil is 100% dry. Refrain from watering during winter months.
LIGHT REQUIREMENTS
Full sun.
REPOTTING
Repot every 2-3 years. Use a well draining cactus compost, adding extra drainage such as perlite, pumice or grit.
FEED
Use a cactus fertiliser twice between April – September.
