Calathea ornata ‘Sanderiana’

Description

Calatheas are nature’s very own artworks. The stunning leaves of C. sanderiana seem almost as if painted by hand; thin strokes of delicate pink on a rich dark purple leaf. A striking addition to any collection.

WATERING

In S/S water when the top surface of the soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 10%.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Bright, indirect.

FEED

Use a houseplant fertiliser every 3-4 weeks during the growing season (April – September).

REPOTTING

Repot every 2-3 years using a houseplant compost or when roots appear from the bottom of the nursery container.
