Our Park Blend is a mix of Kentucky Bluegrass, Perennial Ryegrass and Tall Fescue. Medium-to-dark green in color, Park Blend has medium-fine blades and high grass plant density. It also has superior weed and disease resistance. Park Blend will tolerate shade better than 100% Kentucky Blue and will recover from damage quicker than most other grasses.

Park Blend can be used for commercial or residential use, it’s great for parks, home lawns, and commercial landscapes. It has good drought resistants and wear tolerance.

It is characterized as having a dark green color with medium and fine textured leaves. With high density and a bare-foot soft feel.

Grows well in all types, from heavy clay to sandy soils. Displays an above average tolerance to acidic, alkaline, saline and poorly drained soils.

Mow to a height of 1 .5 to 2.5 inches. Frequency is once a week. Rotary or reel mower.

To avoid dry out, all newly planted turf should be watered daily and soaked thoroughly to a depth of 3 inches for the first 10 to 14 days. After that initial period, water deeply and infrequently whenever grass is showing signs of dehydration. This will be a very good low water use grass.
