Description
Native to Malawi and Mozambique, this unusual succulent shrub produces a captivating stout columnar stem. This chunky caudex produces bright green spiky branches, which spiral up the stem and leave behind rows of spiralling scars from spent branches. Euphorbia mlanjeana is a rare addition for any fanatics of caudiciform succulents.
WATERING
During S/S water when the soil is 100% dry. Refrain from watering during winter months.
LIGHT REQUIREMENTS
Full sun.
FEED
Use a cactus fertiliser twice between April – September.
REPOTTING
Repot every 2-3 years. Use a well draining cactus compost, adding extra drainage such as perlite, pumice or grit.
