Description
Maris Bard is a reliable first early variety, ready to harvest 10–12 weeks after planting. Plant from March onwards in well-drilled rows, 30cm apart, with 15cm spacing between seed potatoes. Choose a frost-free site with good drainage and add compost or well-rotted manure before planting. This 2kg pack yields approximately 20–25 plants, ideal for small to medium gardens. Expect firm, waxy potatoes perfect for boiling and salads. Store seed potatoes in cool, dark conditions until planting.
