Description
Our Rubus fruticosus Little Black Prince is a compact, deciduous shrub. This variety has thornless stems that bear green, palmate leaves that divide into ovate leaflets. Small, white flowers bloom from late Spring to late Summer, contrasting perfectly against the foliage. The tasty, bright red Blackberries, which eventually ripen to black, will be ready to harvest in mid-Summer. They can then be picked and included in a variety of meals or eaten individually.
They will grow to an ultimate height and spread of 1m. In terms of plant care, it should be placed in bright, indirect sunlight and planted in moist, well-drained soil. Watering becomes essential when the soil is dry to touch.
