Growing to just 80cm tall and wide, this variety is small enough for patios, courtyards and containers, yet still produces rich ruby-red flower spikes that last from July through to early autumn. Each flower cluster is packed with nectar and scent, making this plant a real favourite with butterflies and bees.

It was even shortlisted for RHS Chelsea ‘Plant of the Year’ in 2022, and with good reason. It combines showstopping looks with everyday practicality, needing very little upkeep to deliver months of colour.
