Description
The stiff stems do not crawl or wander around on this lovely herbaceous clematis. Instead, they bear clusters of mid-blue flowers, that look like upturned hats – the edges of which are curled back. The flowers appear at the apex of the large, mid-green leaves. Over time the flowers open up to reveal the stamens. A plant for the late summer, autumn border.
