Description
A gem of a plant for a semi-shady position. Slow in its first year, then when established rapidly forms a large colony. Very free flowering with flowers held well above the foliage on erect 90 – 120cm (3 – 4ft) stems which do not need staking. They are single and white with 6-9 petals and outstanding golden centres and are nectar and pollen rich so are attractive to bees and other pollinating insects. Three month flowering period from August to October. They will die down in the winter then re-shoot in the spring Cut stems down to the ground after flowering. Plant 60cm (2ft) apart.
