Description
Compact perennial with intense flower colour, the Agapanthus ‘Flower of Love’ is a smaller variety of the popular African Lily plant with mounded, clump-forming foliage consisting of strap-like, mid-green leaves which sit beneath short stems carrying rounded clusters of vibrant blue trumpet-shaped flowers which bloom around mid-Summer and can last until the early Autumn. A great option for container planting or as part of small flower beds.
Plant in moist, fertile, well-drained soils and keep in full sun in a sheltered position. Can be planted outside in temperate regions but container planting is advised to avoid harsh Winter by moving under glass. Mulching and other forms of frost protection are also advised.
