Description
Semi-evergreen, short lived perennial, with a rosette of leaves and erect, slender stems of bell-shaped flowers, pale purple with deeper purple throats and dark purple speckles in early summer. These are a good source of nectar for bees. Usually flowers in the first year. Full sun or partial shade. Height 50 – 100cm (20 – 40ins), spread 10 – 50cm (4 – 20ins).
