Bearded Iris ‘Sky Fire’

Description

Like the golden rays of the summer sun, bright light and warmth radiate out of the throat of this perennial’s rich amber and orange blooms. It seems as though bearded Iris germanica ‘Sky Fire’ drinks in the rays of the sun he loves so much, and then reflects it back in a selfless sign of devotion. The warmth appears to glow out of the orange blooms that Iris germanica ‘Sky Fire’ produces in the late spring or early summer, perhaps melting the colours on the petals as it passes.

This ruffled and flowing display stands in stark contrast to the foliage beneath, with its thin linear leaves.
