Description
Sow seeds from May to mid-June in deep pots or modules.
Place one seed per pot about 5 cm deep.
Water and the seeds should germinate in 7-14 days.
Gradually harden off the seedlings after the risk of frost has passed.
Then transplant outdoors from June to mid-July.
Space plants 25-30 cm apart with 45 cm between rows, providing tall supports or canes for climbing.
Protect young plants from pests.
Water regularly, especially during flowering and pod formation.
Harvest regularly from late July to October when pods are young and tender.
