Description
Delphinium Highlander Crystal Delight is a herbaceous perennial that features flowers with a lilac outer section and green centre. This mix of colour throughout the plants Summer blooms contrasts perfectly against the lobed, green foliage below. It has wonderful presence in the garden due to its upright growth, as well as producing stunning, double, frilly flowerheads. This variety is also a favourite of bees, butterflies and other pollinators.
Growing to an ultimate height of 0.8m and spread of 0.4m, this Delphinium will be the perfect fit for most areas of the garden. They are low maintenance plants that prefer to be grown in full sunlight. Plant in a moist, well-drained soil and then only give it water when the soil is dry to touch. Any spent flowers should be deadheaded and frosted Winter foliage should be pruned.
