A fast maturing variety with large, dense, white bulbs with a sweet, mild aniseed flavour. Delicious roasted or sliced thinly and used raw in salads. For outdoor sowing

Where In a prepared bed.
How Sow thinly in rows 45cm apart. Cover with 1.5cm of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Seedlings appear 7-21 days.
Care When large enough thin to 20cm apart. As bulbs start to swell, build earth up around them to maintain the whiteness of the bulb and ensure the best flavour. Keep moist and weed free.
Harvest July to October, when approx. 10cm across. Pick young ferny leaves for use in salads and as flavouring for a variety of dishes.
