This is one of the best late cropping turnip varieties available maintaining its excellent mild, nutty and firm texture well into the winter without becoming woody. Although reaching 4-5 at maturity it achieves its peak flavour and texture at around 3. The smooth yellow globes have a medium-sized top, with a golden yellow interior. Patience is vital with this variety as it germinates and grows much slower than other varieties, but the wait is well worth the effort. 65 days.
