Description
A feel of the Mediterranean awaits with the burgundy and apricot leaves of Cordyline Charlie Boy’. With a compact nature and evergreen foliage, this is a perfect choice for a patio pot feature plant. Over time, it develops a distinctive silhouette, as its string stem becomes more noticeable as older leaves shed at the bottom.
Easy to grow, Cordyline need little maintenance, while pruning is limited to just removing dead leaves in spring. Able to withstand a -5C winter, we do however suggest frost protection with fleeces or wrapping or bringing it into a garage or porch during the coldest months.
Plant in a pot and grow outside through summer before moving to a protected space, such as a greenhouse or conservatory, for winter. As plants mature, they become more frost hardy so can be left outside in all but the coldest weather and will withstand all but severe frost.
Supplied as an established plant in a 17cm pot, ready to plant, approx. 40-60cm tall, ready to pot on or plant out.
