Description
A clump-forming, evergreen shrub with stand-out blooms on tall, upright stems. The Agapanthus ‘Megan’s Mauve’ is a variety of African Lily with lovely, funnel-shaped, lavender-blue or mauve flowers which appear in rounded panicles atop tall, slender stems which rise above narrow, mounded, strap-like foliage of mid-to-dark green leaves. A great option for smaller flower beds or as a container plant.
Plant in moist, fertile, well-drained soils and keep in full sun in a sheltered position. Can be planted outside in temperate regions but container planting is advised to avoid harsh Winter by moving under glass. Mulching and other forms of frost protection are also advised.
