Description
Rubus ‘Thornless Evergreen’ is an upright fruit tree with semi-evergreen foliage, during summer it produces abundant crops of large blackberries. The foliage of this plant features unique, dissected leaves and lasts throughout the year and is accompanied in summer by bunches of strong-smelling, small white flowers, these flowers signal the time of year that this variety will begin to bear fruit and shortly after you will see bunches of large, juicy blackberries ready to pick. These edible berries can be eaten straight from harvest, these sweet fruits can be used to make jams and desserts. These plants are extremely hardy and can survive in colder climates and still bear fruit, for best growing conditions these plants prefer a fully sunny position and will thrive in any type of soil as long as it is well-drained.
