Description
Fargesia Scabrida ‘Asian Wonder’, also known as Umbrella Bamboo, is a tall-growing, vigorous bamboo plant with slim green leaves and striking red-tinted stems. Fully hardy and evergreen, the plant is an excellent choice for live screening, a unique garden hedge, filling in gaps or growing in a patio container.
Your Fargesia Scabrida will do well in moist, well-drained soil, in full sun or dappled shade. To achieve a deeper burgundy red on the stems, place in direct sunlight. Make sure the soil doesn’t dry out while the plant is getting established.
