Description
The “Hi-No-Maru” Chinese Aster (Callistephus chinensis Hi-No-Maru) is an extremely decorative, medium tall variety that blooms from August till September. An Annual, it reaches 50 cm in height and produces subtle, tender, branched stems topped with exuberant inflorescences that resemble the beautiful pomponette daisy. What is even more important, the flower heads of the “Hi-No-Maru” asters are bi-colour: the centre consisting of long, reddish-pink tubular flowers is surrounded by a collar of white, tongue-shaped ray flowers.
