The Begonia rex Lambada is an indoor plant with some very gorgeous pink colouring throughout its foliage. The clustered leaf formation brings this colour to the fore with ease as the vast amount of leaves on show ensure the plant is never far from people’s attention. On top of the pink hue, there is a distinct, deep coloured veining that is present on each leaf, adding yet another eye-catching element to this Rex Begonia. Homes, offices, window sills, bathrooms or other indoor spaces are all suitable options for this plant, with partial shade being the key to the plants good progression and growth. The King Begonia, as its more commonly known, will make use of its air-purifying qualities to remove harmful pollutants and unwanted toxins, efficiently cleaning the air. In terms of watering, when the soil is dry to touch (this is usually once a week), the plant should be watered. The Winter dormant period should see this lowered to once every two weeks.
