Description
Rubus idaeus ‘Fallgold’ is a deciduous autumn cropping raspberry variety, the long stems of this plant produces lovely white blossoms throughout summer, and are ready to produce a large abundance of fresh raspberries from july onwards. The fruit itself is an unusual orange/yellow colour with a sweet taste, once ripened they can be eaten immeadiately or they can be used to make delicious jams, sweets and desserts. Harvest the raspberries from july until late october, then cut back the stems at ground level to encourage growth for the following year. This plant is extremely hardy, it can tolerate poor soils and boasts considerable resistance to diseases.
