Description
Commonly known as the silver dollar jade, Crassula arborescens grows glaucous fleshy leaves. Silver-blue leaves grow slightly twisted, with purple edges which deepen in colour during the summer months. Star-shaped white or pink flowers emerge in dense clusters during the summer months.
WATERING
In summer water thoroughly only when 100% of the soil has dried out. During A/W allow soil to dry 100% – water sparingly (every two month). Gradually increase watering in spring – depending on temperature and light exposure.
LIGHT REQUIREMENTS
Full sun.
FEED
Use a succulent fertiliser 4-6 times from April – September.
REPOTTING
Can stay in the same pot for a number of years. If it outgrows its pot, use a very well draining cacti and succulent compost with an added drainage medium like perlite.
