Description
Calathea makoyana, commonly known as the peacock plant, is native to the steamy, tropical floor of south eastern Brazilian forests, so it likes lot of humidity and diffused, dappled light.
WATERING
In S/S water when the top surface of the soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 10%. Mist daily.
LIGHT REQUIREMENTS
Bright, indirect.
FEED
Use a houseplant fertiliser every 2-4 weeks from April – October.
REPOTTING
Repot roughly every 2 years. Use a well draining house plant compost.
