Description
A less common form of Mountain Ash which is extremely hardy and strong growing. Fern-like leaves are larger than the common form and in the autumn have superb autumn colours before falling. In spring the tree bears large, flat clusters of creamy-white, pollen and nectar rich flowers and these are followed in autumn by heavy bunches of sweet, edible, deep orange-red fruits delicious in autumn puddings, or rowan jelly or if left are good food for birds in the winter.
