Salvia ‘Pink Beauty’

Description

This gorgeous Salvia nemorosa ‘Pink Beauty’ produces masses of flowering spikes clothed in rose-pink blooms, each with reddish-purple bracts. These blooms are at their best from mid-summer to mid-autumn, and are carried high above the clumps of aromatic, mid-green leaves. Known as the Balkan clary, this Salvia is a hardy member of the sage family. The habit of Salvia ‘Pink Beauty’ makes it an excellent plant for blending with other perennials!

Plant it towards the front of a sunny border in a free-draining soil, or create drifts through a prairie-style garden, where pollinating insects such as bees and butterflies will flock to the flowers.
