Description
This bright green variety of indoor plant is the Cyperus alternifolius Zumula. Its more common name of Cat Grass is given because of the fondness cats have for the bright, blade-like shoots and the lack of toxicity it provides. It has a very simplistic look, making it easy to include within your home, whilst adding that element of safety for your pet in and around the area you place it in.
Bright, indirect light is what the plant will appreciate most. These conditions allow for easy placement in homes, offices, desks, window sills and even on the floor due to its cat-safe nature, if possible. Water it once a week so the soil stays relatively moist and don’t let the plant stand in water for a large amount of time.
