Senecio mandraliscae ‘Blue Marine’

Description

Commonly known as blue chalk sticks due the distinct dusty silver blue surface, Senecio mandraliscae grows slender fleshy stems, with pointed leaves. Usually growing upright, overtime stems can spread sideways.

WATERING

Water thoroughly when soil is dry 100% during spring/summer months. Water lightly (if at all) during winter months.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Full sun.

REPOTTING

This species can live in the same pot for several years. When the roots become too large for its pot, repot into a slightly larger pot. Use a well draining cactus compost, adding extra drainage medium such as perlite, pumice or grit.

FEED

Use a cactus fertiliser 3 times between March – November.
