Description
Outstanding deciduous, ornamental and fruiting variety with dark red catkins followed by rich, crinkly, purple leaves. Small nuts of excellent flavour. Plant in full sun for the best coloured foliage but is tolerant of shade. Better pollination is achieved when two different varieties are planted. For the native Common Hazel see the hedging section.
