Hardy Impatiens Balsaminaceae

A clump-forming rhizomatous hardy perennial for shady conditions, with lance-shaped dark-green leaves with white mid-ribs. Producing spurred caramel-yellow flowers in late summer. From Mt. Omei, Szechuan, China. Ht 30cm. Sp 40cm.

This has proved very hardy with use although it can get hit by late frosts, it always reshoots and flowers in August.
