This is a great variety for harvesting over a long season from Summer through to spring. The plants are bushy providing large and tasty purple spears.

Sow seeds 2cm deep from April to June in a seed bed with rows 15cm appear. When the seedling appear thin to 7cm apart. When they are 10cm tall then they can be transplanted 45cm apart in their final growing place.
