Calathea insignis

Description

Calatheas are nature’s very own artworks. The stunning leaves of C. insignis are a beautiful matte green with feathered dark green patches radiating from the central vein.

WATERING

In S/S water when 20% of the top soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 50%.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Bright, indirect, warm.

FEED

Use a houseplant fertiliser every 3-4 weeks during the growing season (April – September).

REPOTTING

Repot every 2-3 years using a houseplant compost or when roots appear from the bottom of the nursery container.
