Description

Leucanthemum ‘Freak!’ is a vigorous hybrid between two species: Leucanthemum and Superbum. Also known as Shasta Daisy, it is a compact, clump-forming, herbacious perennial with inversely lance-shaped, dark green basal leaves. Its fluffy flower heads with white, large, multy-layered petals and a yellow centre, start to appear in early Summer and continue to be produced right into Autumn. These beautiful plants are well branched and the flower stalks can reach up to 65cm. They are ideal for planting at the back of beds or will look great potted around your patio and they even make excellent cut flowers.

Cut back dead flower spikes to encourage repeat flowering throughout the Summer. In more windy coastal positions, the plants may need some metal supports to keep them upright and to stop them from flopping open. Easy to propagate by division and divide every 3-4 years.
