Description
This traditional peony variety exhibits timeless beauty. The Japanese-style peony, Peony Doreen, features outer layers of vibrant rosy-pink petals in various delicate hues, surrounding a striking pompon of frilly yellow stamens. Its lightly fragrant flowers are resilient against wind and rain, supported by robust stems. This mid-season, long-flowering peony has rightfully received the RHS Award of Garden Merit. Bare root peonies are lifted when the plant is dormant and dispatched between late October and late February. Peonies in pots can be ordered at any time for delivery when rooted from mid May until bare root peonies become available.
