Description
A tall, upright plant with sky blue flowers similar to those of dandelions. The strong stems rise from a cluster of jagged edged leaves. Sometimes found growing along roadside verges, the roots of this pretty native plant has, in the past, been dried and ground and used as a substitute for coffee. The leaves can be used in salad. A fine plant for the back of a border or a wild spot.
