Description
A very popular, vigorous, upright deciduous tree with stiff ascending branches which are covered with young coppery-red leaves in spring, turning green in summer. These colour beautifully in the autumn. Masses of clusters of purple-pink, fully double flowers, 4-5cm across, appear before the leaves during the latter half of April.
