A bold cottage garden favourite… Lupin ‘Gallery Red’ brings rich colour, strong shape and reliable summer performance in one compact perennial. Its stately flower spikes rise above attractive sage green foliage, filling borders and pots with vivid red tones.

Each sturdy stem is packed with pea-like blooms, drawing the eye from every angle. The colour softens towards the tips, giving the flowers extra depth and helping the plant stand out beautifully among the rest of your border. Plus, this is a great cut flower, bringing that height and colour indoors too.

The real beauty of the ‘Gallery’ series is its manageable habit. Unlike older lupins that can become tall, loose and awkward, ‘Gallery Red’ stays compact and robust at around 50cm tall. That makes it far easier to use in smaller gardens, front borders and container displays, while still delivering the same classic lupin character and generous flower power gardeners love.

Flowering from early summer, the blooms open gradually from the base of the spires upwards, extending the display and attracting pollinating insects as they do so.
