Johnsons Petunia Bedding Mix Seeds, An economy mix, perfect for large scale plantings. Pinch out tips when approx. 10cm tall for bushier plants.
For indoor sowingWhen February to In trays of seed Sow thinly, do not cover the seed with compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at 20-25°C. Seedlings appear 14-25 Remove cover when seedlings appear. When large enough transplant 5cm apart in trays. Grow on at approx. 15°C. Gradually acclimatise plants to outside conditions from late May onwards (avoid frosts). Transplant 25cm apart in flowering position. Keep moist and weed June to October. Remove dead heads to prolong flowering.
An ideal mix of vigorous plants for large scale border plantings, producing masses of colourful blooms through the summer months. Great value.
