Where In trays of seed compost.
How Sow thinly, cover with a fine layer of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx. 15°C. Seedlings appear 14-21 days. For continuous crops repeat sow every 2-3 weeks.
Care Remove cover when seedlings appear. When large enough transplant singly into 7.5cm pots. Stand outside for a few days late May (avoid frosts). Transplant to final position with 20cm between plants and rows. Keep well watered and weed free.
Harvest August to October. Established plants will benefit from a regular liquid feed.
