Johnsons Dahlia Showpiece Mix Seeds, Excellent tall mix of large, mainly double blooms. Lift tubers in autumn to replant the following spring.

For indoor sowingWhen February to In trays of seed Sow thinly, cover with 0.5cm of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx. 15-20°C. Seedlings appear 14-28 Remove cover when seedlings appear. When large enough transplant singly into small pots. Gradually acclimatise plants to outside conditions from late May onwards (avoid frosts). Transplant 30cm apart in flowering position. Keep moist and weed July to October. Remove dead heads to prolong flowering.

Large, mostly double flowers in a range of bright colours. The long stems are ideal for cutting or the border. Usually grown as an annual.
