Codiaeum variegatum var. pictum ‘Mrs Iceton’

Description

Noted for its striking coloured foliage this Codiaeum flushes an array of yellows, reds, pinks and greens. Once settled into a nice bright spot this plant will give you a spectacular display – however, watch out for draughty windows as Codiaeums dislike fluctuation of temperatures.

WATERING

S/S allow 20% of the soil to dry out. In A/W allow soil to dry out 40%.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Bright, indirect. Dislikes draughty and cold spots. Will benefit from a few hours of morning sun.

FEED

Use a houseplant fertiliser 4-6 times from April – September.

REPOTTING

Young plants can be repotted every year for the first few years, then every 2-3 years to replenish the nutrients within the soil.
