Description
Commonly known as the ‘crown of thorns’ due to its spiky appearance, Euphorbia milii is a dense and many-branched succulent shrub. Grey-brown stems form quickly, with small dark green leaves emerging near branch tips. The most distinct feature of this species however, are the small flowers. The cup-shaped blooms are known as ‘cyathia’, formed by a pair of petaloid bracts, and for this variety the flowers appear in a pale yellow shade.
