Description
Johnsons Antirrhinum Rust Resistant Mix Seeds, A border favourite, with improved rust tolerance. Trim plants back as flowers fade, for asecond flush.
For indoor sowingWhen January to In trays of seed Sow thinly, cover with 0.5cm of compost. Firm gently and keep moist. Cover with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx. 15-20°C. Seedlings appear 14-28 Remove cover when seedlings large enough transplant 5cm apart in trays. Gradually acclimatise plants to outside conditions from late May onwards (avoid frosts). Transplant 25cm apart in flowering position. Keep moist and weed June to October, the same year.
Bred to have greater resistance to rust. With elegant spires of traditional snapdragon flowers, in a wide range of colours. Usually grown as an annual.
