For indoor sowingWhen February to April for outdoor plants. All year round to grow In trays of seed Sow thinly, do not cover seed with compost. Firm gently into the compost and keep moist. Cover tray with glass, polythene or propagator lid. Keep at approx. 15-20°C. Seedlings appear 14-28 Remove cover when seedlings appear. When large enough transplant 10cm apart in trays. Pinch out growing tip when 15cm tall for bushier plants. For outdoor plants; gradually acclimatise plants to outside conditions from late May onwards (avoid frosts). Transplant 20cm apart in growing position. For houseplants; pot on seedlings individually to a suitable pot. Any flowers should be pinched off to keep foliage looking its June to October outdoors, all year round indoors.

An easy to grow dramatic foliage plant for use indoors or as a spectacular summer container and bedding plant. Fast growing and very decorative.
