Description

Hibiscus syriacus ‘Red Heart’, commonly known as the Rose of Sharon is a hardy deciduous ornamental tree which produce upright lobed dark green leaves and foliage. During their flourishing season, look out for beautiful 10cm in width, pure white flowers with deep red centres.

Position the Rose of Sharon tree in colourful borders, mixed containers, patios or small gardens for everyone to see. Plant in moist, well-drained chalky soil in a full sun location to allow the tree to flourish. This species can get bushy so it is recommended to prune back towards the end of Winter / early Spring time to ensure fresh variegated growth for the following season.
