Grow juicy cherries in compact spaces with ‘Garden Bing’. True patio perfection, this variety is a staple of the cherry industry, and despite growing with a compact nature, the cherries still pack enviable flavour and yield exceptionally well.
In fact, even after five or so years, this patio fruit tree will remain around 1m tall, so is well-behaved and suited to container growing. This well-branched tree bears scores of sweet cherries, which are easy to pluck from the tree. Expect fruits from 3-4 years after planting.
Come spring, this variety produces an amazing display of blossom, boasting a cloud of bright white flowers in April, followed by deep red fruit in August. This is self-fertile, so produces cherries without needing to be grown near another variety.
Supplied as a bare root plant, already approximately 80-100cm tall, ready to plant.
