Description
Abelia ‘Edward Goucher’ is an attractive and colourful shrub with graceful arching stems carrying beautiful bronze tinged leaves that mature to a deep, rich green along with clusters of lilac-pink, funnel-shaped flowers which appear throughout the Summer and into the beginnings of Autumn. The colder months bring a deep hue of bronze-purple to the foliage providing lovely Autumn colours to the garden.
Plant in medium moisture, well-drained soil and in full sun. Keep sheltered from winter frosts and high winds. As it is semi-evergreen a harsher winter can cause leaves to drop and return the following spring.
Please Note: When purchasing plants please consider that each live item is unique and may therefore differ from the images shown, which are for illustration purposes only. Ongoing plant maintenance within our nursery is essential, meaning some lines are pruned back at certain times of the year to encourage new growth.
