Description
Clump forming perennial with mid-green lance shaped leaves which die down in winter. In mid to late summer it produces dark red buds on deep purple stems which open to long lasting, lily-shaped, beautiful orange-red flowers on elegant spikes which are excellent for cutting. The flowerws are nectar/pollen rich so are attractive to bees. Height 60cm (2ft). Plant in humus rich soil in sun or semi-shade.
