100x Red Perilla Shiso Oriental Japanese Herb Seeds
These basil-like branches give sushi and salads from Japan a subtle liquorice aroma. The visually appealing Microgreens ‘Perilla/Shiso Red’ variety has fresh green leaves and shoots that have a red colour. For a really Oriental flavour, add it to stir fries. You may also add some in a sandwich.
Growing instructions:
Sow the Red Perilla Shiso seeds from March to April. Thinly sow seeds into trays (2cm deep). Germination usually takes 10-14 days and once the seedlings have germinated and have grown 10-15cm tall, transplant the seeds or spread the plants 30-50cm apart. Water plants thoroughly after planting especially during warm days. Harvest from May to October.
